SUMMARY:
Aim: The main research objective was to show the importance of the authority of the teacher in the upbringing of the student in the spirit of Christian and human values, as well as cultural, intellectual, facing important and responsible tasks in the future.
Methods: The study uses the method of analysis and synthesis of professional literature/subject matter, monographic-descriptive method. The material is devoted to theoretical news related to the concept of authority itself, the meaning of pedagogical authority and its classification, as well as the description of the characteristics of a teacher aiming to be an authority.
Results: The integral development of the student requires concern on the part of all actors involved in the process of axiological education and upbringing. It has been shown that the authority of the teacher in the pupils affects the achievement of moral maturity and conscious formation of the pupil's personality. The authority of the teacher plays a very important role in the work of teaching and education.
Conclusion: Authority is related to willpower, rules of behavior but also to inner courage and dignity. One should work for it with one's whole life. It is the teacher right after parents who participates in building principles, values and beauty in children. So it is not indifferent to what kind of person he is, what kind of personality he has, what values he follows in his life. The moment the child respects the teacher and is aware that he can be relied on, teaching will be easier for him.
Originality: Every teacher should strive to be an authority figure, as this is an indispensable factor in doing the job. However, having such respect among others is not so simple. This topic, despite the numerous interests, is still not fully exhausted and needs to be studied more thoroughly. The reflections contained in this work can provide a lot of interesting content for clarifying the process of the meaning of teacher authority and can influence the improvement of the teaching and educational process.

STRESZCZENIE:
Cel: Zasadniczym celem badawczym było ukazanie ważności autorytetu nauczyciela w wychowaniu ucznia w duchu wartości chrześcijańskich i ludzkich, a także kulturowym, intelektualnym, wobec którego stawia się ważne i odpowiedzialne zadania w przyszłości.
Metody: W opracowaniu wykorzystano metodę analizy i syntezy literatury fachowej/przedmiotu, metodę monograficzno-opisową. Materiał poświęcony jest wiadomościom teoretycznym związanych z pojęciem samego autorytetu, znaczeniem autorytetu pedagogicznego i jego klasyfikacją oraz opisem cech nauczyciela zmierzającego do bycia autorytetem.
Wyniki: Integralny rozwój ucznia wymaga troski ze strony wszystkich podmiotów uczestniczących w procesie aksjologicznej edukacji i wychowania. Wykazano, że autorytet nauczyciela u wychowanków oddziałuje na osiągnięcia dojrzałości moralnej i świadomego kształtowania osobowości wychowanka. Autorytet nauczyciela odgrywa bardzo ważną rolę w pracy dydaktyczno-wychowawczej.
Zakończenie: Autorytet związany jest z siłą woli, zasadami zachowania ale także z wewnętrzną odwagą i godnością. Należy pracować na niego całym swoim życiem. To nauczyciel zaraz po rodzicach uczestniczy w budowaniu zasad, wartości i piękna w dzieciach. Zatem nie jest to obojętne jakim jest on człowiekiem, jaką ma osobowość, jakimi wartościami kieruje się w swoim życiu. W momencie, kiedy dziecko będzie szanowało nauczyciela i miało świadomość że można na nim polegać, uczenie będzie dla niego łatwiejsze.
Oryginalność: Każdy nauczyciel powinien dążyć do bycia autorytetem, ponieważ jest to nieodzowny czynnik wykonywania tej pracy. Posiadanie takiego szacunku wśród innych nie jest jednak takie proste. Temat ten pomimo licznych zainteresowań nadal jest nie do końca wyczerpany i wymaga dokładniejszego poznania. Refleksje zawarte w tej pracy mogą dostarczyć wielu interesujących treści dla wyjaśnienia procesu znaczenia autorytetu nauczyciela oraz mogą mieć wpływ na udoskonalenie procesu dydaktyczno-wychowawczego.
