ABSTRACT
It is safe to say that each of us can become a leader, but is it effective and one that the team will follow, and the tasks will be carried out with satisfaction? A leader is a person who has high moral and ethical standards “and enjoys good, communication”. It turns out that the significant features of a leader are fairness, the ability to ensure safety and predictability, as well as high communication skills. Another feature of the leader are the skills related to the organization of work, i.e. delegating tasks, defining goals, conducting meetings, setting the direction, providing feedback and enabling employees to self-organize. This means that an effective leader must adopt as an overriding principle that he cannot do everything on his own, because he is not the only specialist. One of the most important features of a leader is setting the direction in such a way that employees can organize their working time themselves. Research shows that allowing team members to self-organize produces better performance than teams where the leader manages everyone's time and work.
