SUMMARY:
Aim: The modern world is characterized by change, influence, and consequences of the widespread use of modern communication technologies, which are now at our fingertips—in the pockets of everyone who has a smartphone with Internet access. It has been proven many times that the phenomenon of phubbing is a threat to interaction in real life. The family environment is the foundation of our emotional support and well-being. So when it is disrupted by phubbing, it can negatively affect our overall mental and emotional health. The significant link between phubbing and behavioral addictions related to smartphone and Internet use is a sign that these phenomena may have a common source and that it is worth taking a closer look at this correlation.
The aim of this text is to analyze the phenomenon of phubbing based on a review of scientific sources. This phenomenon is interdisciplinary in nature and attracts the attention of psychologists, sociologists, communication researchers, political scientists, and representatives of other fields. The subject of the analysis undertaken in the article is the phenomenon of phubbing – a phenomenon resulting from the widespread use of modern technologies and mobile devices in the everyday lives of young people. The article describes the definition of phubbing, its types, causes, and consequences in a social context, taking into account the sphere of communication among young people and the role of the educational environment in shaping values for creating conscious personal interactions in real life.
Objective: The article aims to analyze the phenomenon of phubbing, understand the impact of technology and new communication media on relationships in the family and peer environment by analyzing the role of educational values in maintaining a balance between technological progress and ethical behavior. Additionally, the main objective is to identify the challenges and benefits of integrating technology into the lives of young people, where the priority is to raise awareness of the consequences of phubbing.
Methods: The study uses the method of analysis and synthesis of professional/subject literature, as well as the monographic-descriptive method. The material is devoted to theoretical knowledge related to the concept of phubbing, its meaning, and a description of the use of technological methods and techniques introduced in interpersonal communication, as well as the role of the educational environment in encouraging young people to create conscious interactions in real life.
Results: The integral development and behavior of young people requires care from all educational environments involved in the education process. It has been shown that family behavior as well as widely used prevention measures at school influence the achievement of intellectual potential and the shaping of the personality of the pupil, which aims to promote a reduction in the use of technological communication methods.
Conclusion: Contemporary changes in fundamental areas of reality are linked to modernization in terms of the use of information technology and various forms of educational and life practices. The main issue addressed in the text is student activity, which aims to gather technological experience but also to change their attitude towards communication.
Originality: The article presents the topic of the influence of the educational environment and broadly understood prevention on interpersonal communication among young people in their peer environment, as well as a reflection on its role in the context of technological progress. Despite numerous interests, this topic is still not fully explored and requires more detailed study. The results of this work may provide a lot of interesting content for explaining the process of phubbing and its impact on improving the teaching and educational process.

STRESZCZENIE:
Cel: Artykuł ma na celu analizę zjawiska phubbingu, zrozumienie wpływu technologii, nowych mediów komunikacyjnych, na relacje w środowisku rodzinnym i rówieśniczym poprzez analizę roli wartości środowisk wychowawczych w utrzymaniu równowagi między postępem technologicznym a etyką zachowań. Dodatkowo, zasadniczym celem jest zadanie zidentyfikowania wyzwań i korzyści wynikających z integracji technologii w życiu młodych ludzi, gdzie priorytetem jest zwiększanie świadomości, na temat konsekwencji phubbingu.
Metody: W opracowaniu wykorzystano metodę analizy i syntezy literatury fachowej/przedmiotu, metodę monograficzno-opisową. Materiał poświęcony jest wiadomościom teoretycznym związanych z pojęciem phubbingu, jego znaczeniem i opisem stosowania metod i technik technologicznych wprowadzanych w komunikacji interpersonalnej oraz roli środowiska wychowawczego, by zachęcać młodzież do tworzenia świadomych interakcji w realu.
Wyniki: Integralny rozwój i zachowanie młodego człowieka wymaga troski ze strony wszystkich środowisk wychowawczych, uczestniczących w procesie edukacji. Wykazano, że zachowanie rodziny jak również szeroko stosowana profilaktyka w szkole oddziałuje na osiągnięcie potencjału intelektualnego i kształtowania osobowości wychowanka, która ma na celu promowanie zmniejszenia stosowania metod komunikacji technologicznej.
Zakończenie: Współczesne przemiany podstawowych obszarów rzeczywistości wiążą się z modernizacją w perspektywie stosowania technologii informatycznej i z różnorodnymi formami praktyki edukacyjnej, i życiowej. Główną kwestią poruszoną w tekście jest aktywność uczniowska, która ma na celu gromadzenie doświadczeń technologicznych lecz także zmianę ich nastawienia w komunikowaniu się .
Oryginalność: W artykule przedstawiona została tematyka wpływu środowiska wychowawczego i szeroko pojętej profilaktyki na temat komunikacji interpersonalnej młodzieży w środowisku rówieśniczym oraz rozwaga nad jej rolą w kontekście postępu technologicznego. Temat ten pomimo licznych zainteresowań nadal jest nie do końca wyczerpany i wymaga dokładniejszego poznania. Wyniki tej pracy mogą dostarczyć wielu interesujących treści dla wyjaśnienia procesu phubbingu oraz wpływu na udoskonalenie procesu dydaktyczno-wychowawczego.
