SUMMARY:
Aim: Getting to know and defining the role of the ritual of renewal of the Holy Baptism before the First Holy Communion. in shaping the spiritual culture of the family in the experience of parents on the example of the deanery of Olsztyn IV-Jaroty in the archdiocese of Warmia.
Methods: The study used a qualitative method of data collection in the form of an individual interview focused on the problem. Interviews were conducted with 30 parents who were representatives of 15 families from the Olsztyn IV-Jaroty deanery in the archdiocese of Warmia.
Results: Most of the respondents consider ritual to be: one of the main dimensions of creating a spiritual culture of the family; source of value and a way of solving problems; an element reminding the importance of baptism in the life of a child and preparing him for the sacrament of the Eucharist. Among the respondents there are also individuals who consider the ritual to be a tradition rooted in a cultural community, in which they do not see an expression of the child's personal readiness to live in the Catholic faith.
Coclusion: The presented results of the research lead to reflection that the spiritual culture of the contemporary family is shaped on the basis of characteristic dimensions of the functioning of all its members. Among them is the ritual of renewal of the Holy Baptism as one of the elements enabling the building of the spiritual culture of the family environment.
Oryginality: The article deals with an issue that is not often discussed in scientific circles. It raises the issue of creating a family culture, through which the system of values and social attitudes of children and young people is shaped. It is one of the first to focus on the experiences of parents building the environment of the spiritual culture of the family and all its members.

STRESZCZENIE:
Cel: Poznanie i określenie roli rytuału odnowienia Chrztu Św. przed I Komunią Św. w kształtowaniu kultury duchowej rodziny w doświadczeniu rodziców na przykładzie dekanatu Olsztyn IV-Jaroty w archidiecezji warmińskiej.
Metody: W badaniach zastosowano jakościową metodę zbierania danych w postaci wywiadu indywidualnego skoncentrowanego na problemie. Wywiady przeprowadzono z 30 rodzicami będącymi przedstawicielami 15 rodzin z dekanatu Olsztyn IV-Jaroty, archidiecezji warmińskiej.
Wyniki: W większości badani rytuał uważają za: jeden z głównych wymiarów kreowania kultury duchowej rodziny; źródło wartości i sposób rozwiązywania problemów; element przypominający znaczenie chrztu w życiu dziecka i przygotowanie go do sakramentu Eucharystii. Wśród badanych znajdują się także jednostki uznające rytuał za tradycję zakorzenioną we wspólnocie kulturowej, w której nie upatrują wyrazu osobistej gotowości dziecka do życia w wierze katolickiej.
Zakończenie: Zaprezentowane wyniki badań skłaniają do refleksji, iż kultura duchowa współczesnej rodziny kształtowana jest w oparciu o charakterystyczne wymiary funkcjonowania jej członków. Wśród nich znajduje się rytuał odnowienia Chrztu Świętego jako jeden z elementów umożliwiających budowanie kultury duchowej środowiska rodzinnego.
Oryginalność: Artykuł traktuje o zagadnieniu nieczęsto dyskutowanym w kręgach naukowych. Podnosi kwestię kreowania kultury rodziny za pośrednictwem, której dochodzi do kształtowania systemu wartości i postaw społecznych dzieci i młodzieży. Jako jeden z pierwszych skupia się na doświadczeniach rodziców budujących środowisko kultury duchowej rodziny i jej wszystkich członków.
