SUMMARY:
Aim:. The aim of the publication is to show the role and forms of activity of the Polish Catholic Mission in Germany among Polish migrants, including the example of the Mission in Offenbach and the opinions of parents of Polish children attending Polish schools.
Methods: The article uses qualitative methods using the technique of participant observation, narrative interviewing, document analysis and literature query.
Results: The issues of migration of Poles and their situation in Germany on the example of Hesse were indicated, while demonstrating the educational role and importance of the Polish Mission and the Catholic role of pastoral ministry in the processes of cultural adaptation of Poles.
Conclusion: Migration and the socio-cultural processes associated with it require not only social assistance and cultural socialization, but also spiritual support and integration of Poles abroad along with education in Polish.
Originality: The article presents the topic of migration of Poles and their functioning in culturally different conditions, which is not very common in the pedagogical literature, while showing the role of pastoral ministry and its importance in education and culture.

Cel: Celem publikacji jest ukazanie roli i form działalności Polskiej Misji Katolickiej w Niemczech wśród polskich migrantów, w tym na przykładzie Misji w Offenbach oraz opinii rodziców dzieci polskich uczęszczających do polskiej szkoły.
Metody: W artykule zastosowano metody jakościowe z wykorzystaniem techniki obserwacji uczestniczącej, wywiadu narracyjnego, analizy dokumentów i kwerendę literatury przedmiotu.
Wyniki: Wskazano na kwestie migracji Polaków i ich sytuację w Niemczech na przykładzie Hesji z jednoczesnym wykazaniem roli i znaczenie edukacyjnego Polskiej Misji i Katolickiej, roli duszpasterstwa w procesach adaptacji kulturowej Polaków.
Zakończenie: Migracja i związane są nią procesy społeczno-kulturowe wymagają nie tylko pomocy socjalnej i socjalizacji kulturowej ale i wsparcia duchowego oraz integracji Polaków na obczyźnie wraz z edukacją w języku polskim.
Oryginalność: Artykuł prezentuje niezbyt częsty w literaturze pedagogicznej temat migracji Polaków i ich funkcjonowania w odmiennych kulturowo warunkach z jednoczesnym ukazaniem roli duszpasterstwa i jego znaczenia w edukacji i kulturze.
