ABSTRACT
Aims:: The main aim of the article is to comprehend and highlight the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital era for children. Additionally, the article aims to provide practical guidance based on the values of Catholic pedagogy, assisting in the creation of a secure online environment for the youngest individuals.
Methods: The prepared text is primarily based on the analysis of the teachings of the Catholic Church regarding children's safety in the digital world. It also incorporates relevant literature emphasizing the contemporary need to prioritize the safety of children engaging with modern technologies.
Results: The article amalgamates various aspects such as benefits and risks, Catholic values, challenges for parents and teachers, forming a comprehensive analysis of the subject matter. Ethical aspects of utilizing new media, particularly in the context of Catholic values, are addressed. The author delves into issues related to safety, education, online ethics, and sustainable technology use. The article includes practical tips for parents and teachers concerning children's safety in the digital realm.
Conclusion: Conclusions drawn from the application of Catholic Pedagogy to shaping secure online habits are clear, contemporary, and inspiring. Respect for the dignity of others and the cultivation of empathy become the foundation for creating a positive online environment. Collaboration between parents and teachers emerges as pivotal, requiring regular communication, joint establishment of standards, and a commitment to monitoring children's activities.
Originality: The article, due to the pervasive use of modern technologies, aligns with the current necessity of analyzing the needs of Catholic pedagogy in the context of children's safety in the digital era.

Cel: Głównym celem artykułu jest zrozumienie i podkreślenie wyzwań oraz możliwości, jakie niesie ze sobą era cyfrowa dla dzieci, a także przedstawienie praktycznych wskazówek opartych na wartościach katolickiej pedagogiki, które pomagają w budowaniu bezpiecznego środowiska online dla najmłodszych.
Metody: Przygotowany tekst został głównie oparty na analizie nauczania kościoła katolickiego na temat bezpieczeństwa dzieci w świecie cyfrowym. Do przygotowanego tekstu wykorzystano również pozycje literaturowe, które wskazują na współczesną potrzebę dbania o bezpieczeństwa dzieci, korzystających z nowoczesnych technologii.
Wyniki: Artykuł łączy różne aspekty, takie jak korzyści i zagrożenia, wartości katolickie, wyzwania dla rodziców i nauczycieli, tworząc kompleksowy obraz analizowanego zakresu tematycznego. W artykule zwrócono uwagę na etyczne aspekty korzystania z nowych mediów, zwłaszcza w kontekście wartości katolickiej.
